Yahoo Launches 'My Web'

Yahoo announced earlier today that its personal search engine was released for testing earlier today. Similar to Google's 'My Search History', the Yahoo service allows users to share their favorite websites via e-mail, IM, or a new tool called Yahoo 360. Yahoo said its service will also enable registered users to create their own search archive by saving their favorite webpages as well as search results and history.

Users can also annotate webpages and publish them via RSS feeds in order to share the information to a wide audience. Yahoo said 'My Web', which is available at http://search.yahoo.com, is a new product that uses ideas from technology rolled out six months ago in the company's personalized search portion of My Yahoo.
